FAMS is a grassroots organization formed by people living in the Middletown, Lower Swatara, Londonderry area who have seen how the heroin/opiate epidemic has impacted our community.  The purpose of our group is to promote awareness of this epidemic and provide support to the following:

1.) People concerned about the Heroin/opiate epidemic,

2.) Recovering addicts,

3.) Current addicts,

4.) Families of current or recovering addicts.

FAMS teams up with other addiction recovery groups, organizations, treatment centers in fighting against this destructive epidemic.  Our goal is to improve the quality of life in our communities and our families by doing whatever it takes to confront this issue in positive and constructive ways.  If we can make a difference in a single life, we have taken one more step in achieving our goal.  We welcome any persons who have the heart to join us in this important effort.  Together we can save lives and revitalize the safety of our neighborhoods.
